Mexico to be Led by a Female President for the First Time
The presidential elections in Mexico have concluded with a landslide victory for Claudia Sheinbaum, the candidate of the coalition “Let’s Continue to Make History.”
As noted by the current head of state, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Sheinbaum has not only become “the first female president in the 200-year history of the republic,” but also the one who “has received the most votes in the country’s history.”
