The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Mehrdad Bazrpash, has announced that Iran is a country of logistics and transit opportunities, calling for the development of the country's infrastructure in the transportation sector, especially through the utilization of private sector resources.

The minister noted that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has supported the development of maritime economy, emphasizing that it has been highlighted in the political agenda of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and it is one of the hopes for the further development of the country.

Bazrpash also mentioned the increase in automobile transportation in the past Iranian year. 'In the first two months of the current year, an increase in maritime transit has been recorded compared to the same period last year, indicating that the country's transit infrastructure is developing day by day,' Bazrpash stated.
