This was stated today, on May 31, by Armenia's third president Serzh Sargsyan during a conversation with reporters in front of the court in Nor Nork, commenting on recent developments, particularly the fact that police had closed the entrance to the Sardarapat Memorial for the Catholicos of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

“If you are asking about the reasons, those who give and carry out such orders surely have disproportionate external support, which is why they resort to disproportionate actions. Regarding obstructing the entrance of the Catholicos, that is already beyond all legal norms and also outside the bounds of morality,” he said.
