On May 31, at 15:40, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue service received a report that a traffic accident had occurred on the Yerevan-Eraskh highway, and there were casualties. Assistance from rescuers was required.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 4th kilometer of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway, a Nissan vehicle (driver: T. Kh., born in 2001) had veered off the roadway, collided with a metal guardrail, and overturned. Both the driver and a passenger, K. Gh. (born in 1976), were extricated from the vehicle by local forces.
The rescuers assisted the injured individuals, who were then transported by ambulance to a medical center. The rescuers closed the valve of the vehicle's gas cylinder, secured the area, and brought the vehicle closer to a tow truck.
