No Need to Appeal to UEFA for Tbilisi Matches, AFFA Responds to FC Pyunik

The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has responded to a query from ArmSport regarding the venue for Yerevan's FC Pyunik's European cup matches, emphasizing that the capital club is 'engaging in cheap manipulations.' In its letter to ArmSport, the FFA specifically points out: 'We present the letter sent to FC Pyunik by the Football Federation of Armenia in February (not April) and request its full publication.' The letter addressed to Pyunik is included below.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Yerevan club stated, 'Before the championship, we received a letter from the Federation stating that in the event of winning the championship, we would be granted the stadium in Armavir or the city stadium in Gyumri. However, we are currently fighting and utilizing all our resources to ensure that the champion of Armenia is provided with the 'Republican' stadium, along with a training ground, as having preparatory conditions is equally vital.'

'At this moment, we have a signed contract with 'Dynamo Tbilisi' regarding the provision of the stadium, which has been sent to UEFA, but we have not yet received a response.'
