Kyaramyan Awards Syunik Governor and Several Officers and Soldiers in Kajaran

The President of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, accompanied by the leadership of the Military Investigative Main Department and garrison investigative divisions, visited the city of Kajaran, where a tribute was paid at the brotherly cemetery to the graves of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the homeland.

During the event, President Kyaramyan congratulated the attendees and the employees of the Military Investigative Main Department on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Committee, presenting the historical and political prerequisites for its formation and the goals pursued.

Kyaramyan particularly valued the substantial and undeniable contribution of the Military Investigative Department in investigating crimes against military service order within the armed forces, as well as in the cases of aggression that were unleashed by Azerbaijan in September 2020, citing specific qualitative indicators as evidence.

“Today, we can state that as a result of large-scale evidentiary and procedural actions conducted, all essential circumstances necessary for a legal assessment of the main facts and acts involved in the military operations have been identified across all directions, and the preliminary investigation is nearing its final stages,” Kyaramyan noted in his speech.

The President of the Investigative Committee also addressed the policies and expectations of the Committee’s leadership regarding the development and strengthening of the system, pointing out that consistent efforts are being made to unify the principles of organizing and conducting preliminary investigations across all bodies exercising preliminary investigation powers, enhance centralized management of investigative units, improve the structure of the Committee, and raise the level of coordination of the activities of investigative bodies.

During the formal session, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan awarded various honors for cooperation and effective service to Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan, Commander of the Special Army Corps Armen Gyuzalyan, along with several officers and soldiers of the Armenian Armed Forces.
