Blinken Confirms: Biden Has Allowed Ukraine to Strike Targets in Russia with American Weapons

The U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed today that President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to strike targets within Russian territory using American weapons. Blinken made this announcement to reporters in Prague following an informal meeting of NATO member countries' foreign ministers.

Kyiv had requested the use of American weapons in response to intense rocket attacks on Kharkiv carried out from Russian territory.

Blinken also mentioned that specific steps will be taken at the upcoming NATO summit to further integrate Ukraine into NATO.
