Former U.S. President Donald Trump has discussed with businessman and engineer Elon Musk the possibility of his involvement in the future administration as an advisor. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Wall Street Journal.

“Donald Trump and Elon Musk have discussed a potential advisory role for the Tesla leader should the Republican candidate return to the White House,” the publication stated.

Musk has previously indicated that he plans to vote Republican in the upcoming presidential election and has recently discussed with other like-minded businessmen how to best "resist Democratic President Joe Biden's second term," according to media reports.
