Number of Participants Detained During Protest Made Known

From the Republic Square, 2 individuals have been detained, while 7 individuals were taken from Myasnikyan Avenue. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.

He informed that 6 vehicles were taken to the impound lot from the Republic Square.

It is noteworthy that earlier the situation at the Republic Square was tense. A scuffle broke out between police and citizens after law enforcement urged participants of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement to move to the roadway.
