Bayramov Speaks About Four Tavush Villages
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeihun Bayramov has discussed four villages in Tavush, stating that "the return of the villages contributes positively to the process of normalizing relations." He made these remarks during a joint press conference with his Pakistani counterpart.
According to Bayramov, he presented the post-conflict situation in the region to the Pakistani official during today's meeting. He also informed the head of Pakistan's Foreign Ministry about the recovery efforts in the area of the four Tavush villages, noting, "I have pointed out that the long-term issue of landmines hinders our efforts," said Bayramov.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister emphasized that the demarcation of certain sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the recently reached agreements have a positive impact on the normalization process. "Azerbaijan is committed to the peace process, and we hope that it will be beneficial for the overall security and prosperity of the region," the Azerbaijani official highlighted.
