27-Year-Old Woman Kills 64-Year-Old Man with Hoe in Lori

On May 27, law enforcement uncovered a murder case that took place in the village of Odzun just hours after it occurred. According to shamshyan.com, the chief of police of Lori region received operational information about the identity and location of the alleged perpetrator. A police operational group located the suspect and brought her to the Tumanyan police department.

The suspect, 27-year-old Sofia K. from Lori region, confessed to the crime, stating that during an argument over personal issues, she struck L. Khachumyan with a hoe (a tool used for tilling the soil). After the attack, she left the scene.

Sofia K. also presented the instrument of the crime to the police. She has been arrested. Sources indicate that Sofia K. has been previously convicted multiple times for committing residential burglaries.

It is noteworthy that on the same day, a murder was reported in Lori region, where the body of 64-year-old L. Khachumyan was discovered in one of the houses, bearing signs of injury to the head.
