Disobedience Protests: Number of Detained Individuals as of 10:10
As of 10:10 AM, a total of 196 participants in disobedience protests have been detained by various departments of the Police of the Republic of Armenia in Yerevan. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"As of 10:10 AM, 196 participants in the disobedience protests have been detained in Yerevan under Article 182 of the Administrative Violations Code," the Ministry stated.
We had previously reported that supporters of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement have closed several streets both in Yerevan and in the regions since early morning. Concurrently, the special forces began detaining participants of the disobedience protests. Among those detained was Igor Khachaturov, the son of the former Secretary General of the CSTO, Yuri Khachaturov.
