Road Closures in Armenia

The Emergency Services have reported that there are road closures within the territory of Armenia. According to the Road Department Foundation, drivers are advised to bypass the M-6 route when heading to the Georgian border and take the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border inter-state roads instead.

Below are the closed roads due to the current situation along with suggested alternative routes:

Closed Routes:
1. Vanadzor – Alaverdi – Ayrium - Bagratashen
2. Dilijan – Ijevan

Alternative Routes:
Inter-state Route Armenia - Georgia
1. “Gogavan Junction” - Tashir – Stepanavan – Vanadzor – Yerevan
2. “Bavra Junction” - Gyumri – Yerevan
Intra-Republic Route
1. Ayrium – Noyemberyan – Aigehovit – Tavush – Berd – Tstujur – Jambarak – Sevan – Yerevan
