A Unique Opportunity is Opening Before Armenia Today: Tigran Sargsyan

A unique opportunity is opening before Armenia today to realize its sovereignty, including in the digital domain, through Eurasian integration. Tigran Sargsyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), announced this during the Armenian Business Forum 2024 conference in Moscow.

According to him, Armenia cannot participate in decision-making anywhere else, while in the Eurasian Union, decisions are made on the basis of compromise. “That is, without Armenia's voice, decisions cannot be made and implemented in the EAEU's 180 million market. And this creates a unique tool for exercising its own sovereignty,” he stated.

Sargsyan clarified that as a member of the Eurasian Union, Armenia can realize its national potential to a greater extent. It is precisely through Eurasian integration that effective opportunities are opening up for cooperation with India, China, and Iran.
