Tragic Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province: 1 Dead, 3 Injured

On May 24th, a major car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. Around 08:15, at the 74 km mark on the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway, there was a collision between a VAZ 2107 vehicle and a Renault truck at the intersection near Nigavan village. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, four individuals with varying degrees of injuries were transported to the "Aparan" medical center. One of the injured was extricated from the VAZ 2107 by rescuers using specialized equipment.

While the investigative team was working at the scene, the Aparan police station received a report from the hospital that one of the injured individuals had died without regaining consciousness, while another was being transferred to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Aparan investigative department regarding the accident, which will determine the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured parties.
