Thunderstorm approaching Yerevan: This was reported by Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, on his Facebook page, accompanied by a photo.

Due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the Mediterranean region, rain and thunderstorms are expected intermittently across the republic from May 24 to 26. Intense rainfall and hail are possible in some areas, including Yerevan.

It is noted that the air temperature will decrease by 5-7 degrees on May 24-25 and will increase by the same amount on May 27-29.
