Hail, Wind Intensification: Weather Forecast for Upcoming Days

Intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected across the republic from May 24 to 26, with intense downpours in some areas and the possibility of hail. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in separate regions on May 27 and 28. This information comes from the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

The wind will blow from the southwest at speeds of 4-8 m/s, and during thunderstorms, winds could intensify to 18-23 m/s. Throughout the day on May 24 and 25, temperatures will gradually drop by 4-6 degrees, with a similar rise expected on May 27 and 28.

In Yerevan, from May 24 to 26, as well as the night of May 27, rain and thunderstorms are also forecasted, featuring intense weather in certain areas and the potential for hail. During thunderstorms, wind intensification is expected at speeds of 16-20 m/s. On May 24, daytime temperatures in the capital will range from 19-21 degrees, dropping to +14 to +16 degrees in the evening.
