Georgia's Parliament to Begin Procedure for Overriding Foreign Agents Law Veto

On May 27, Georgia's Parliament will start the procedure to override President Salome Zurabishvili's veto on the foreign agents law. This was announced on the website of the Georgian legislative body.
Specifically, a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs is scheduled for that day. The first item on the agenda will be the presidential veto on the foreign agents law. If the committee approves the veto override, the issue will be presented at the plenary session scheduled for May 28.
