Urgent Construction of a New Road in Kiranц to Commence

The Armenian government has made a decision during today's session regarding the urgent procurement of design and pre-estimate documentation and expertise services for the construction of a new road in the Kiranц community of the Tavush region.

It has been noted that there is a pressing need to construct a new automotive road, as the urgency for these works has arisen due to an extraordinary and unforeseen situation. Given this context, the application of other procurement methods is not feasible within the required timeframe.

“Therefore, based on the urgency, it is planned to undertake the procurement of design and pre-estimate documentation and expertise services through a single-source procurement method,” the decision justification states.

For this purpose, 9,613,000 AMD will be allocated to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, of which 8,820,000 AMD will be for the preparation of design and pre-estimate documentation, and 793,800 AMD for the expertise.
