Possible Hail, Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Upcoming Weather

In Yerevan, on May 23 and 28, especially in the evening hours, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible during the day on the 27th. From May 24 to 26, and during the night of the 27th, periods of rain and thunderstorms are expected, with some areas experiencing intense weather, and possible hail. During thunderstorms, wind gusts are forecasted to reach speeds of 16-20 m/s.

In the regions, on the daytime of May 23 and in separate areas on the 27th and 28th, short-term rain and thunderstorms are anticipated. From May 24 to 26, there will be intermittent rain and thunderstorms throughout the republic, and some areas may experience intense conditions including potential hail. The wind will be coming from the southwest at 4-8 m/s, while gusts during thunderstorms are expected to reach 18-23 m/s.

The air temperature during the daytime on May 23 will increase by 2-4 degrees, gradually decreasing by 4-6 degrees on the 24th and 25th, and will rise again by the same amount on the 27th and 28th.
