The Chief of the General Staff Presents the Advantages of Becoming an Officer

In a bid to strengthen the military-society connection, enhance the attractiveness of military service, and guide students in their professional orientation, this week, students from various high schools across the republic visited the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense, according to reports from the Ministry's press service.

The students toured the academy's premises, where they were provided with detailed information about the admission process, updated educational programs, the daily routines of cadets, training conditions, and the prospects of becoming an officer, along with numerous benefits and social guarantees provided by the state.

Academy officers and lecturers also answered the students' questions of interest.

On May 21, the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, who is also the First Deputy Minister of Defense, met and conversed with another group of students visiting the military academy from different regions of the republic, once again highlighting the benefits of becoming an officer and the specific features of studying at the military academy.

The visits of high school students to the military academy will be of a continuous nature.
