Farmers Losing Property in Kiranç Submit Applications for Compensation and Waiving Claims
Farmers losing property are submitting applications at the Kiranç village municipality, which, according to residents, are essentially related to compensation and waiving claims to property. This was reported by "Azatutyun" referencing its sources.
"What kind of wording these applications have and what legal grounds they are based on remain unknown at this time," the media outlet stated.
According to the villagers, a total of 54 plots of land are being transferred across the border due to demarcation. These belong to more than 30 individuals. This means that more than 30 residents are losing their property and possessions as a result.
Residents reported that first and foremost, compensation will be provided to citizens losing homes and buildings, with 4 such structures identified, as previously announced by the government. There are two houses, one of which the government presents as a shelter, along with 2 other buildings.
"Kiranç makeshift shelters were brought in, which are essentially intended for the Armenian border guards. However, where they will be installed has not been disclosed yet," the media described. "... A short while ago, we noticed that on the pole installed on the right side of the road leading to Kiranç, it says Aze. We did not see this inscription the day before. Next to the pole, Armenian border guards are conducting operations. The area falling in front of this pole is being transferred to the Azerbaijani side."
