Zelensky's Presidential Term Expired on the Night of May 21
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that his tenure as the head of state has not yet concluded. "My term as president, which is for five years, has not ended yet. Due to the military situation, it continues," Zelensky said in an interview with Reuters.

According to the Constitution of Ukraine, Zelensky, who was elected in 2019 for a five-year term, had his presidential powers expire on the night of May 21. However, in wartime conditions, Kyiv refused to hold presidential elections.
