A Start of More Active Actions is Coming: 'Haykakan Jamanak'
The newspaper 'Haykakan Jamanak' reports: This week, the leader of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement, Bishop Bagrat, will continue meetings with representatives of various social groups, and by the end of the week, a conclusive rally is scheduled; if nothing changes, it will take place on May 26. During the concluding rally, the bishop will present a roadmap for regime change, and a start to more active actions will be announced.
Before May 26, the parliamentary opposition will neither introduce a no-confidence initiative into the parliamentary agenda nor propose a constitutional amendment related to lifting the ban on dual citizens from running for the position of Prime Minister.
It is noteworthy that during a meeting on Saturday, representatives of several political forces proposed the bishop as a candidate for Prime Minister, with the exception of a member from Samvel Babayan's party, who, although in favor of Pashinyan's removal, emphasized that they do not currently have a clear position regarding a Prime Ministerial candidate.
Previous attempts regarding any political figure's candidacy have met with failure, and the opposition has realized that discussing any candidate other than the bishop will divide the field.
