30 Million Dram Allocated for Purchasing Modular-Movable Buildings
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has allocated 30 million dram for the purchase of modular-movable buildings. However, the contract does not specify how many such buildings will be acquired and for what specific purposes.
According to available information, these are likely to be mobile accommodations, which were widely discussed following the tragic incident in Azat village, when a barrack, lacking basic living and safety conditions, was set ablaze at night, resulting in the deaths of 15 young servicemen in just a few minutes.
At that time, there was much discussion about how acquiring modern modular accommodations is not expensive; rather, the state is saving funds and leaving soldiers in inhumane conditions. And now, instead of acquiring such accommodations for the Ministry of Defense, which could serve as mobile barracks, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is obtaining them, most likely for the police, to enhance the professionalism and dedication in the task of protecting the authorities.
