Inspection Authority Suspends Operations of Liquefied Gas Station in Kotayk Province
Based on the directive of the head of the State Inspectorate for Urban Planning, Technical, and Fire Safety of the Republic of Armenia, a fire-technical investigation was conducted at the liquefied hydrocarbon gas station located at 54 Astharaki Highway, Nairi community in Kotayk province.
The inspection authority informed NEWS.am that the investigation revealed and documented violations of fire and technical safety normative documents that pose an immediate threat to people's lives, health, and safety.
Considering the risks and the degree of danger related to the violations of safety requirements, the head of the State Inspectorate for Urban Planning and Fire Safety has decided to fully suspend the operations of the liquefied hydrocarbon gas station at the aforementioned address in Kotayk Province.
As a result of the collaboration between the inspection authority and the Nairi community administration, the liquefied gas station operating at the specified address has been completely dismantled.
