Shooting in Hrazdan: One of the Victims is a Criminal Figure
On May 18, shootings and murders occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 19:10, operational information was received by the Kotayk regional department of the Armenian Police regarding gunfire near the church in the Vanatur neighborhood of Hrazdan City, resulting in casualties and injuries.
According to Shamshyan.com, police officers and patrols discovered a man's body at the scene, along with a pistol, blood-like traces, and an Opel vehicle. It was established that two more individuals had been transported to the Hrazdan Medical Center with gunshot wounds, where, according to reports, one of them died.
The source reveals that the deceased are 50-year-old Artzrun Avetyan, a resident of the Kotayk region, who died on the spot, and 49-year-old Arsen Hunanian, known by the nickname “Dero's Arsen,” who succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The injured individual is 21-year-old Artyom Hayrapetyan, also a resident of the Kotayk region, who was admitted to the Hrazdan Medical Center.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Kotayk regional investigative department on the charges of “murder” and “attempted murder.”
