Francesco's Postage Stamps with Baguette Scent Debut

The French postal service has released a postage stamp infused with the scent of a baguette to honor "this pearl of French cuisine." This information was reported by Le Figaro.

The article notes that in November 2022, the baguette was included in UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage.

According to the publication, the stamp features an image of a baguette decorated with a ribbon in the colors of the French flag. The scent of bread is activated when the stamp is rubbed.

A total of 594,000 stamps have been issued, each priced at €1.96.
