What Factors Are Behind the Personnel Reshuffles in the Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense has announced personnel reshuffles following decrees from the President of Armenia. The Ministry has clarified the reasons behind these appointments.

"Personnel reshuffles have taken place in the Ministry of Defense based on the President's decrees, which are related to the reforms within the armed forces. These changes are in line with the relevant decisions made by the Government of Armenia in October 2023 regarding the approval of new regulations and structures for the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces," the statement reads.
