Health Ministry Explains Removal of Director from Yolyan Hematology Center

The director of the Yolyan Hematology Center, Samvel Danielyan, has been dismissed for political reasons. Dr. Gevorg Tamamyan, who submitted a resignation letter alongside Danielyan, stated during a live broadcast that Danielyan had recently embraced Bishop Bagrat during a march. According to him, Danielyan's dismissal carries a political subtext.

The Ministry of Health informed Aysor.am, "Mr. Danielyan's employment contract was terminated as of May 15. Mr. Danielyan was acting as the center's temporary head, and his term for fulfilling obligations would have ended on June 7." When asked if there is a political context behind Danielyan's dismissal, Health Ministry spokesperson Mariam Tsatryan remarked, "I will not comment on Tamamyan."
