Archbishop Bagrat on Upcoming Actions of the Movement

The civil disobedience actions will continue tomorrow and the day after, on whichever day is most suitable. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the Tavush Diocese, stated this during a press conference at a protest rally on May 15.

According to him, the actions will be targeted, focusing on specific demands at that time. “We will carry out actions that ensure citizens benefit, as in this case. Just yesterday, I mentioned briefly that citizens can go and voice their dissent; the entire city has been turned upside down,” Archbishop Bagrat said.

When asked about discussions surrounding the prime ministerial candidate, the archbishop confirmed that discussions are ongoing and that these conversations continued today.

It is noteworthy that earlier today, Archbishop Bagrat announced that he had met with representatives from the “Living Country” and “Democratic Alternative” parties, as well as members of the Yezidi community.
