Opposition Figure Disappears in Azerbaijan

The opposition "Musavat" party has announced the disappearance of its representative, Natig Mehdi. According to the political force, they have not been able to establish contact with Mehdi since May 10.

The party states that Mehdi's family has attempted to obtain information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the possible arrest of the opposition figure, but has not received any response from official authorities.

The "Turan" agency reports that law enforcement has also not responded to inquiries from the media.
