It’s Not Far Off the Day When You’ll Say That to Be Armenian You Need a Certificate from Hayk the Patriarch: Pambukhchyan
The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Armen Pambukhchyan, addressed the city council meeting, commenting on the actions of the opposition.
“When a person fails to succeed, they try to use everything to generate attention towards themselves. Nevertheless, this still does not work,” he stated.
According to Pambukhchyan, the opposition's message is based on falsehoods. “Dear people, no one will join you based on your behavior,” he said.
Pambukhchyan asserted that citizens are subjected to ethnic cleansing from the platform. “It’s not far off the day when you will try to say that to be Armenian, you need a certificate from Hayk the Patriarch—let's say, bring the 26th form showing you are descended from Hayk the Patriarch,” he added.
