VIDEO: Young Man Injured While Being Arrested, Now in Hospital

During a protest on Tbilisi Avenue, 23-year-old Armen Baghdasaryan sustained an injury to his right wrist while being forcibly detained. He is currently located at the Izmilen Medical Center.

According to a participant of the protest, he was taken to the hospital by ambulance after intervention from police officers.

Since this morning, citizens have been blocking streets in various parts of Yerevan. A large number of police officers, including those in red berets, have been deployed across the capital’s streets. In all areas, they are detaining citizens participating in peaceful acts of disobedience, including by using patrol cars.
