VIDEO: Citizens Conduct March in Yerevan
Citizens, upon reaching the Yerevan State University, greeted the students on strike and continued their act of civil disobedience with a march. Police forces are trailing behind the participants of the march.
It should be noted that supporters of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese, have set out on foot from Kiran toward Yerevan to halt the unilateral demarcation process.
On May 9, the march participants reached Republic Square in Yerevan, where a large rally took place. Movement leader Bishop Bagrat gave Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan one hour to resign, which did not happen.
Following that, he called for peaceful acts of disobedience to begin across the republic on May 10.
