VIDEO: We Receive Internal Information from NSS and MoI, Thank You - Bishop Bagrat
We must fight, have conviction and faith, because our whole life is a struggle. This was stated by Bishop Bagrat, the head of the Tavush Diocese, during a conversation with journalists.
“They have begun to deceive not only the people but also themselves, they are lying and starting to believe their own lies, they have reached that stage. Now they can say whatever they want, there is no need to clarify nonexistent things,” emphasized Bagrat.
According to him, there have also been pressure on the Church during the Soviet period, and what happened with the USSR? Garegin I, the Supreme Patriarch, has ordained him, and the name Bagrat is given in memory of Archbishop Bagrat Vardazaryan, who was shot dead and buried in an unknown location by the NKVD in 1937.
“What happened to the Church? Nothing, but the Soviet Union is no more and it will not be. Everyone understands this, especially our high-ranking clergymen know what the truth is, and there is no issue of needing support here, it has simply become more audible now,” highlighted Bishop Bagrat.
Regarding a journalist’s remark that the movement is led by the Supreme Patriarch and that the beneficiary is the former President of Armenia, Bishop Bagrat emphasized, “The Supreme Patriarch has blessed the movement.”
In response to the observation that according to Prime Minister Pashinyan, blessing means leading, Bishop Bagrat simply replied, “Well, these people will say whatever they want now.”
In response to a journalist's question regarding Pashinyan's announcement yesterday that there are no concessions, and in fact they will gain more, Bishop Bagrat commented, “We will win, there is a future.”
“We receive numerous information from both the NSS and various branches of the MoI, thank you for your support and for informing us about preventive measures. I am grateful to all the honest compatriots who are indeed within the National Security Service and individuals in the Internal Troops of the Police, thank you for conveying important information during critical times,” stressed Bishop Bagrat.
