Hail, Rain, and Strengthening Winds: Weather in Armenia

In the territory of the Republic, on May 7-8, rain and thunderstorms are expected from time to time, with heavy showers in some regions. Hail is also possible today. This is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

According to the announcement, the wind will be from the west at 3-6 m/s, with strengthening winds expected during thunderstorms, reaching speeds of 18-23 m/s.

The air temperature is forecasted to rise by 2-3 degrees on May 9-10.

In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are also expected at times on May 7-8, with wind speeds reaching 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms.

On May 9, and during the night of May 10-11, dry weather is expected.
