The surveying work in the territory of Kiran village in the Tavush region continues. This was reported today, on May 6, to NEWS.am by the administrative head of Kiran village, Kamo Shahinyan.

“The villagers are gathered next to the police, and we are trying to understand what will happen next. For now, there are no developments; the situation in the village remains the same, and the villagers are sitting broken and desperate,” added Kamo Shahinyan.

Earlier, we reported that surveying work is being carried out in Kiran village, and a large number of police forces have also arrived in the village. It is noteworthy that the members of the “Tavush for the Homeland” movement, led by Bishop Bagrat, began a march from Kiran to Yerevan on May 4. The movement's march is expected to reach Yerevan on May 9.
