Heavy rainfall has caused problems in transport hubs, tunnels, and streets. This was stated by advisor Kamo Areyan during a City Hall meeting.

“Heavy rainfalls have caused issues in transport hubs, tunnels, and streets. One of the reasons is the amount of rainfall in those areas, and another is the complete absence of drainage systems, for example, in the right side of Arshakunyats Avenue. The main causes of water accumulation have been linked both to insufficient drainage capacity and, of course, to cleaning work. At this moment, we have an issue at the Vardanants-Khanzhyan intersection, where the entire pump system for surface water drainage has failed,” he said.
