Video: Alen Simonyan on Change of Power

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, stated that he is unaware of the demands from the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement members. "I have not heard any political demands; if their proposal is to take some action against Azerbaijan, or to launch another offensive... there is no political demand," Simonyan said in a conversation with journalists.
He emphasized that Armenia is not making unilateral concessions. "Armenia is securing its borders, and that process will continue," Simonyan added.
The Speaker is confident that there will be no change of power at this time. "In Armenia, a change of power can only occur through parliamentary elections, which will take place in 2026," Simonyan stated.
