Sochi Authorities Warn Against Relaxing Near Water

The risk of dangerous rising water levels in Sochi's rivers is expected to continue until the end of Sunday. This information has been reported by the city's administration press service.

It has been indicated that the resort area continues to be warned about adverse weather phenomena. "According to the meteorologists' storm warning, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM and until the end of May 5, 2024, rising water levels are expected in Sochi's rivers and in Sirius DIT, reaching dangerous indicators in some areas," the city hall's statement said.

Municipal and city services are operating in an intensified mode. Residents and visitors of the resort are advised to refrain from relaxing near the water and to take all necessary precautions.
