Footage has been released of the meeting between Bishop Bagrat and his dog, Arkak. In a video, Bishop Bagrat states, "With innocent animals, we go to the capital to solve issues." Earlier, it was reported that the march from the village of Kiran in Tavush province to Yerevan had commenced.
Bishop Bagrat had previously announced that the movement is set to reach Yerevan on May 9th, where they will present specific demands to the authorities. Before the march, participants held a prayer, after which Bishop Bagrat, political figure Suren Petrosyan, popular singer Arsen Grigoryan, and "Armenia" faction MP Garnik Danielyan knelt before 96-year-old Lena, a resident of Kiran village, to receive her blessing.
