2-Year-Old Child Burned by Hot Tea in Ararat Region and Hospitalized
On April 30, an emergency incident occurred in the Ararat region. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
At around 11:30 PM, the Masis division of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that a child had been taken to the "National Burn Center" with a diagnosis of "thermal burns from scalding liquid, affecting the left shoulder, left upper limb, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree, covering about 6 percent of the body surface," accompanied by her parents.
On the scene, police found that the child affected was a 2-year-old girl from the Ararat region, whose health condition is assessed as stable.
Police also established that at approximately 10 PM the same day, due to the negligent performance of parental duties regarding the child's health, the girl had taken a cup full of hot tea from a kitchen table at their residence and spilled it on herself, suffering the aforementioned burns.
Documents have been prepared by the Masis division of the police regarding the incident, which have been forwarded to the Masis investigative division of the Ararat regional investigative committee.
