Armenia Improves Its Position in Press Freedom Index: What Ranking Is It?

The organization "Reporters Without Borders" (RSF) has published the "World Press Freedom Index 2024." Armenia has improved its standing and is now ranked 43rd in the index. Last year, Armenia was in 49th place.
The index assesses the working conditions of journalists in around 180 countries worldwide. In the Press Freedom Index, neighboring Georgia is ranked 103rd, Azerbaijan 164th, Turkey 158th, and Iran 176th.
