Kyrgyz Authorities Urge Citizens to Avoid Traveling to Russia
Kyrgyz citizens have been advised to refrain from traveling to Russia for the time being. This advisory was issued by the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the ministry's information, citizens are recommended to temporarily avoid visiting the territory of the Russian Federation until the implementation of previously established additional security measures is suspended and the control regime at the state border is tightened.
The Foreign Ministry noted that in the absence of sufficient grounds for traveling to Russia, it is better to refrain from visiting that country. “If you need to travel to Russia, be sure to check in advance whether there are any entry restrictions,” the publication emphasizes.
In early April, Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev stated that 69 Kyrgyz citizens were denied entry into Russia following the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
