It Is Known Where the Albert Azaryan Named Youth Sports School Will Be Built

The Olympic Youth Sports School named after Albert Azaryan will be constructed at 2/2 Tsitsernakaberd Highway. This was reported today by the Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan during the operational consultation of the Yerevan City Hall, led by Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

According to him, the sports school will occupy an area of 1.5 hectares and will feature facilities that meet modern requirements, including two training halls and a competitive hall for artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, designed for 532 individuals. “In addition, high-quality equipment will be provided for training. The project of the sports school is completed. After expert evaluations, a construction tender will be announced. Construction work is likely to start in the second quarter of 2024, and the project is expected to be completed by 2026,” he noted.
