VIDEO: Residents of Kiran 村 Block Military Police Checkpoint

Earlier today, residents of Kiran village in the Tavush region have blocked a Military Police checkpoint. NEWS.am reported that the citizens have closed the bridge in Kiran village, where, according to circulating information, demining operations are scheduled to take place today.

The participants of the protest have been waiting since early morning to prevent the demining activities from occurring, and they have also set up tents near the bridge.

It is worth noting that today, protests have taken place not only in the capital city but also in several regions of Armenia, with citizens blocking streets to demand an end to border demarcation activities in Tavush and to refrain from ceding any territory to Azerbaijan.
