Citizens Block Aram Khachatryan Street

Citizens have blocked Aram Khachatryan Street. Protests continue.

It is noted that large police forces from Charents Street in Yerevan have detained participants of the protest, including Edgar Ghazaryan, Naira Zohrabyan, and Larisa Alaverdyan.

Today, the section of the Yerevan-Meghri interstate road near Tigranashen has been closed, as well as the Yerevan-Gyumri highway near Alagyaz, and the Yerevan-Vardenis road near Martuni.

Additionally, streets have been blocked in Yerevan, specifically, as of now, the Khorenatsi-Zakian intersection and Charents Street in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are closed.

It should be noted that the section of the Armenia-Georgia interstate road near Kiran is also blocked for several days.

29 participants of the protest have been detained. This information has been confirmed by the police to the media. Among those detained, 17 are in Yerevan and 12 are in Noyemberyan.
