Zelensky Prohibits Ukrainian Soldiers from Gambling Until Martial Law Ends
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has ordered the command of the country's Armed Forces to effectively restrict military personnel from accessing gambling and online casinos during the state of martial law.
The relevant decree was published on the presidential website. Zelensky instructed the Ukrainian government to develop a program within one month aimed at limiting gambling advertising, creating a state monitoring system for online casinos, and organizing a national campaign to inform the public about the dangers of gambling addiction, as well as prevention and treatment methods.
Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must ensure that online casino administrators take a series of measures to combat gambling addiction.
