«Do Not Trust Traitors and Liars»: Hakob Arshakyan on Giving Up Territories in Armenia
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan, wrote on Facebook: "Dear compatriots, any talk about giving up Armenia's villages and territories is a brazen lie. Do not trust the traitors and liars; remember their past path, the values they professed, the seeds they planted, and the fruits they bore.
We are traversing a difficult path together, and no obstacle is insurmountable. Therefore, we must calmly and peacefully navigate these challenging times for our state, striving to build long-term peace for the safety of our people and the development of our country."
It is noteworthy that today there has been the eighth meeting of the commissions regarding the delineation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev. As a result of the meeting, a protocol was signed. The parties agreed to determine the date and venue for the next meeting in due course.
According to our Foreign Ministry, preliminary agreements were reached during today's meeting to align the border sections of Baghanis - Baghanis Ayrum, Voskepat - Ashaga Askipara, Kiranth - Kheyrumli, and Berkaber - Kyzyl Hajili in accordance with the legally grounded inter-republican border that existed at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union.
